CACHICK is not a disease!
Posted by HeadNutInCharge on March 11, 2008
I found this blog recently written by a girl by the name of Stacie and she did a great job of breakin’ down meaning of her vanity license plate and giving her readers a little 101 about the type of girl, uh, chick she is.
Silly me. I had not clue that there was a major difference between a girl and a chick. I thought they were used interchangeably kinda like the words car and whip. So thank you Stacie for enlightening us and teaching me and the readers the difference between the two. Gotta love a chick with an NBA license plate frame.
Here is a bit of the text from her blog, if you wanna know more than read on…
“Cachick” , or “Ca(t)ch Ick“ as my dad put it, is not a disease. It is the word I put on my newly personalized Arizona license plate. It stands for California Chick. I am a strong believer in not being a girl , but that I am a chick. Why?

If R.Kelly drove a Corvette…
Posted by gsif2002 on March 7, 2008

Ah yes, the golden shower.
What better way to express your dominance over the little pee-ons that are driving inferior vehicles? Or could this be some advertisement for some R Kelly type of fetish……Anyways, it’s just refresing to see people exude their power and superiority through a few simple letters.
Anyone for a warm glass of lemonade?

Corvette is to speed as Jet Fighter is to G Forces
Posted by HeadNutInCharge on March 7, 2008

A while back I did an entry about one of the coolest license plates I had ever seen. Although on my original post there was no picture, just a reflection of a cool plate I saw.
I just had a reader named Mike submit his vanity license plate which fits the description of the one I saw years ago. This reader has just submitted one of the best custom license plate pics I have ever featured. Just the logistics alone is setting up this type of shot wouldn’t be an easy feat unless one had regular access to US Fighter Jets… Mike are you pilot? If so, extra kudos to you. If not, how is the hell did you manage to get your car that close to a fighter jet?
Thanks to Mike for answering a question that had been looming for some time. Does this license plate refer to money or G forces? I now know it all about G FORCES!
Nice ride but your co-star in this photo made this TOP TEN on platenuts.com
I love the internet. Shout out to the “online” squadron for keeping the lives of vitual American safe day by day. Thanks guys!

Florida proposes a new KKK friendly vanity license plate to honor Sons of Conferderate Veterans
Posted by HeadNutInCharge on February 28, 2008

If the Sons of the Confederate Veterans get their wish, Floridans can be driving around with all 5 flags of the Confederate Army proudly displayed on their vanity license plate. The group has to show the state of Florida that there are 30,000 Floridians in support of this vanity license plate in order to take the enxt step in getting it passed.
John Walker Adams, a Son of Conferdate Veterans states “Public support has been overwhelmingly positive.”
Read article here.
Obviously, this is a charged topic that I gave this blog title, but I don’t care.
I do understand the whole “it’s history, not hate” cry that Confederate supporters often belt. It’s not those guys that bother me. I am bothered by the people who have never picked up a history book and proudly support the confederacy as a means for racial suppression. Having lived in the South, Mississippi to be exact, I personally watched the KKK march down the street of a major city road proudly chanting hate cries and waving their Confederate Flag all while being escorted by black police officers.
Many of the Son of the Confederate Veterans feel this vanity license plate is literally a driving history lesson and not representing hate. Call me ignorant, but when I see the Confederate I don’t see heritage- I see hate. Hell- if the plate is about history then why don’t they just put a noose on the vanity plate too. I can’t even imagine the vanity license plates that “slip” through the State of Florida’s approval process.
Hmmm… how about KKK4LIF or HANGIN maybe WHT PWR?
This could get UGLY.

“Scarlett Letter” DUI License Plate in Washington
Posted by HeadNutInCharge on February 22, 2008
It’s the Scarlett Letter all over again. Republican State Senator Mike Carrell is pushing for a new law requiring all convicted of a DUI in Washington State be forced to sport florescent yellow license plates on the front and back of their vehicles.
“I believe shame will keep people from doing it. Looking at somebody who is driving around with a fluorescent yellow license plate should be a good reason for others to decide ‘I don’t want to have my neighbors knowing that I’m a drunk,’” said Carrell.
The new proposal calls for anyone convicted of a DUI and your caught driving with out your “special plate” could face misdemeanor charges.
Mother’s Against Drunk Driving group is not backing this law because they feel there is no scientific evidence to support that this tactic will reduce those driving under the influence. M.A.D.D. activist Jeri Mallory, who lost her niece nearly a year ago feels that “sometimes shaming people is not the right thing to do.”
The new proposed law would require offenders to be burdened with the “Scarlett Letter” license plates for one year. Exceptions made if it’s a work vehicle.
Anyone from Ohio knows that this law has been in affect in their state for already 4 years.
My question is: Can someone customize their DUI license plate?

Corvette turned into an American Flag! Wave On…Wave On…
Posted by HeadNutInCharge on February 19, 2008
Hmmm…were do I begin on this one? Let’s start with this- I come from a long and strong lineage of military veterans, so by nature and my upbringing I happen to be a very patriotic man.
Patriotic enough to paint my car the American Flag…eh “How about No Scott!”
My Blackberry Curve 2.0 Megapixel Camera DOES NOT do this paint job justice. As much as I want to say this thing was a bit too much, the paint job was nicely done and was incredibly vibrant and rich.
Obviously from the photos, you can tell there were some undocumented workers very busy creating this upholstery nightmare but I will let that go simply because of the patriotism displayed. Other than the interior, I really liked the car. It reminded me of a 1992 mini truckin’ interior with lots of overstuffed upholstery.
Notice the custom license plate which reads “WAVE ON”. It’s obvious what our guy here was trying to accomplish but went all out on some areas and in my opinion neglected or skimped on others.
Do I love it? No.
Do i like it to show America her flag waves proudly personified through an old Chevrolet Corvette? Absolutely!
Corvette owners-thumbs up or down on this Corvette custom license plate ?

We touched on the last auction in which the Emerald Hotel in Abu Dhabi hosted a charity license plate auction in which the number “5″ sold for millions.
This time they auction was for the highly desired vanity license plates simply reading “1″. It was a heated battle in which moments after the plate went up for auction there were 6 wealthy business men all battling to take home this highly coveted vanity license plate.

Shaq Custom license plate? Shaq just traded to the Phoenix Suns!
Posted by HeadNutInCharge on February 6, 2008
Just announced. Shaquille O’neal has been traded to the Phoenix Suns. Below is an except taken from an article from azcentral.com. In honor of Shaq’s arrival a friend of mine found this custom license plate out of California who obviously is a Shaq fan and submitted it to the site.
“The Suns have completed the trade that will bring center Shaquille O’Neal to Phoenix in exchange for Shawn Marion and Marcus Banks.O’Neal passed his physical exam to the Suns’ satisfaction this afternoon and a trade call was placed with the league to make the trade official. Marion and Banks, who remained in Phoenix this afternoon, still have to pass physicals with Miami in the next 72 hours or the Heat could rescind the deal but that is highly unlikely at this stage.”
